This one is a fave of mine. This digital image I created for a Digital Design Project last semester. It is one of twenty-one images that make up a digital book, "Minu unenägu" (which translates to "My Dream" in Estonian).
I am an interdisciplinary artist born, raised and working in the coastal city of Vancouver, BC. With my curatorial projects, collage, book media and miniature sculptures, I address themes of place, collective and personal memory, tourism, language, landscape and value with an emphasis on cultural history and identity.
Whether in my hometown or past cities of residence: Tartu, Estonia, Barcelona, or Paris, I draw great inspiration from the visible and historic texture of the everyday urban environment around me.
